For the Fallen Dreams (Rise Records)
Lansing, Michigan’s For the Fallen Dreams was founded in 2003 and features vocalist Chad Ruhlig, guitarists Jim Hocking and Jason Spencer, bassist/vocalist Joe Ellis, and drummer Andrew Tkaczyk. Taking inspiration from melodic metalcore bands such as Misery Signals, Still Remains, and It Prevails, the quintet cut their teeth with local gigging before signing a deal with Rise Records and releasing their debut full-length.

Palisades (Rise Records)
By teaming up with producer Cameron Mizell at Chango Studios (Sleeping With Sirens, Memphis May Fire, Woe Is Me), PALISADES has taken full advantage of the solid foundation built with the EP and used it as a launch pad to take it to the next level. The band were also joined in the studio by Andy from Crown The Empire, Chris from Like Moths To Flames and Tyler Carter of Issues who lent guest vocals to the new album! Armed with the strength of their new album “Outcasts”, PALISADES will be unstoppable.

Sylar (Razor & Tie Records)
Formed in Queens, New York in 2012, metalcore quintet Sylar devastate listeners with their frantic and crushing sound. While the band is made up of singer Jayden Panesso, guitarist/vocalist Miguel Cardona, guitarist Dustin Jennings, bassist Travis Hufton, and drummer Thomas Veroutis, the band uses the studio like an extra instrument. The album found Sylar being quickly snatched up by Razor & Tie, who signed them and released their debut full-length, To Whom It May Concern, in 2014.

Forget Tomorrow
Hailing from Wolcott, CT, Forget Tomorrow is a six-piece post-hardcore band that has been pushing musical limits within this past year, and is currently accomplishing their goal of having their music travel into the ears of many. With a clear vision, “whatever it takes” mentality, and solidified lineup of Avery Taylor (23), Kevin Loftus (21), Brenton Champagne (21), Dustin Paolino (21), Chris Carlson (21), and Brandon Bogush (20), the band is showing no signs of slowing down.

Limitless
Born in the heart of a fast growing New England music scene in early 2013. With the intentions of making a name for themselves not only in their region, Limitless is expanding into a national touring act. Playing along side many touring bands such as Attila, I See Stars, Capture The Crown, and others the band has made their presence known. Since Recording their EP earlier this April with producer Joey Sturgis, Limitless has proven to exceed expectations with their passion, dedication, and motivation to take the genre to the next level.

A pretty apt description in a nutshell. Once you get down to an intricate school of thought, the lyricism of singer/guitarists Jonathan Simmons and Andrew Slaymaker show things in a different light. Having all met in the Philadelphia suburb of Doylestown, PA through mutual projects during their high school years, Balance and Composure decided to start what they called a “real band” once former projects dissolved. Once completing the formation of the band, Balance and Composure hit the ground running and have yet to look back.A sonic assault melding influences such as Sunny Day Real Estate, Neutral Milk Hotel and Nirvana, their upcoming full length “Separation” adheres to the band’s namesake. A cohesive listen of anthemic and melodic guitar blitzes with poignant lyricism, rhythmic thrusts and an abrasive pop knack in its overall deliverance, “Separation” churns in a fortified enclave of gutiar fuzz and impending rhythms that drive heavily. Balance and Composure may wear their love for early 90’s underground alt rock on their sleeves, but they are in no way merely a “throwback” band as much as they are an outfit who respects their influences, and pushes them forward into brash sonic terrortory with the us vs. the world ethos of geniune punk rock. After self releasing their first EP “I Just Want To Be Pure” in 2008, followed by their “Only Boundaries” EP and split EP with Tigers Jaw both on No Sleep Records, Balance and Composure are now on the verge of releasing their debut full length “Separation” out May 10th, 2011 on No Sleep Records.Listen: http://www.balanceandcomposure.com/SeahavenSeahaven began in 2009 as four friends in Southern California who shared a passion for the post-punk and indie sensibilities of favorites Brand New, Jawbreaker, and Crime in Stereo. After ex-Final Fight drummer James Phillips decided to take a break from the hardcore tendencies of his previous band, he joined forces with Kyle Chadwick, Eric Findlay, and Michael Craver to create a sound that has been described as “a somber combination of indie / punk elements and overtones that inspire and uplift your average punk-listener”.Featuring a guest vocal performance from Jordan Brown of Set Your Goals on the track “Love”, as well as the crystal clear production of acclaimed producer Zack Ohren (Heartsounds, Set Your Goals), it is easy to distinguish the more pop-punk and lighthearted qualities of the band’s youthful energy (the average age of the band members being 20) which at first glance is buried beneath the downtrodden lyrical content and darkened sonic musical passages of the debut offering. The combination of the two contrasting musical themes within the bands debut EP “Ghost” has proved succesful for the Torrance, CA four-piece, given the overwhelming positive rsponse to the record thus far. HEIRLOOM ARTS THEATRE Presents…

Sunday, September 14th
@ Heirloom Arts Theatre
155 Main St
Danbury, CT 06810

Crown The Empire (Rise Records)
Crown The Empire—which includes vocalists Andy Leo and David Escamilla, guitarists Brandon Hoover and Bennett Vogelman, drummer Brent Taddie and bassist Hayden Tree—formed in Dallas, Tex. in 2011, after Leo connected with Hoover and Tree, with the goal of starting a new project. Taddie and Vogelman—both discovered through videos of them playing covers on YouTube—joined later that year, and those early efforts led to the November 2011 EP Limitless. Then in March 2012 second vocalist Escamilla was added to the fold, solidifying the lineup as it currently exists, giving birth to the band’s full-length debut, The Fallout, released November 2012. Over the past two years the band has toured both nationally and abroad, with slots on the recent Our Last Night run, the 2013 Take Action tour with The Used, select dates with Falling In Reverse, and a U.K. run with Pierce the Veil. Crown The Empire were also recently featured on the cover of Alternative Press’ annual “Bands You Need To Know” issue.

Volumes (Mediaskare Records)
Volumes are a collection of five young musicians coming from a wide array of musical backgrounds, ranging from jazz, classical, post-rock to rap and of course metal. VOLUMES eclectic tastes blend together to forge a creative bond between several types of genres that are worlds apart. The combination of their efforts results in fusions between intricate patterns, melodies, and progressive.. yet-not-to-be-overlooked-aggressive, straight to the point, metal. This particular blend of musical styles strives to find a balance between chaos and tranquility. Standing out in their genre is the fact that VOLUMES have two lead-vocalists who utilize their different ranges to create a layered, charismatic volatile sound which leave all listeners begging for more.

SECRETS (Rise Records)
Secrets hailing from sunny San Diego, CA, SECRETS has already made an impact as one of the most promising up and coming acts in the scene. Armed with irresistibly catchy choruses, soaring vocals, and mercilessly dynamic breakdowns, its no wonder the post-hardcore five-piece has seen such success since signing to Velocity/Rise Records in the Spring of 2011.

Ice Nine Kills (Outerloop / Fearless Records)
Ice Nine Kills, The band, named after the ultimate weapon of mass destruction from the Vonnegut novel, Cats Cradle -will, like its namesake, awe you. On their newly released album, Safe Is Just A Shadow, the group seamlessly weaves soaring melodies with the raw emotion and aggression of post hardcore and metal, creating in the process a refreshing sound that both soothes and knocks-over the listener. The band utilizes multi textured guitar hooks, a dual vocal attack, and a pummeling rhythm section which takes the listener by the throat, and refuses to let go

The Family Ruin (KBB Records)
Hailing from York, UK, the electrifying five-piece are a blast of face-melting riffs, thick grooves and rich harmonies. Recently signed to BEN BRUCE (ASKING ALEXANDRIA) and KYLE BORMAN’s label KBB RECORDS, THE FAMILY RUIN are influenced by the modern heights of AVENGED SEVENFOLD and ESCAPE THE FATE, and the legendary spirit of MOTLEY CRUE and DEF LEPPARD. They’re a hard and heavy band ready to conquer the world.
